Skill. This does not refer merely to style and delivery, but also to the collection, choice, and arrangement of materials. All who preach eminently well—and the same thing is true of secular speakers—will be found, with scarcely an exception, to have labored much to acquire skill.

We need God-called men who will take the Book of God and preach the Son of God with the anointing of the Spirit of God. We need men with warm hearts, wet eyes, clear heads, and tongues aflame.
— Adrian Rogers

Expositional preaching is a foundational part of making disciples and cultivating healthy church members. The consistent expositional preaching of God's word will have profound and lasting impact. Simply, exposition is explaining the text. Preaching expositional sermons helps provide guardrails in your ministry by relying on the text and the Spirit of God over creativity and cleverness.

The Word of God is the grand narrative about Jesus. Through consistent expositional preaching we proclaim the gospel and offer hope to a hopeless world.

As I transition into a new season of ministry as SEND Missionary for New Orleans. Here are four way's I would like to make an impact through preaching:

  1. Helping planters build their ministry around planning and preaching expositional sermons.
  2. Edifying local churches by preaching missions, marriage, and family conferences.
  3. Providing pulpit supply for the weary planter and/or pastor.
  4. Preaching revivals and spiritual renewal weeks.

If any of these can minister to you or your church please don't hesitate to contact me.

and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
