George & Joy Ross

For the past 30 years, I have been blessed to pastor and serve in some amazing churches.  During this time I have experienced first hand what God can do when we are willing to advance His Kingdom through planting churches, making disciples, and sending out missionaries. My background in disciple-making, leadership development, and church planting led my family to New Orleans where I serve as The Send Network South Regional Director, Ministry Based Faculty at New Orleans Baptist Seminary, and one of the replant elders at Lakeshore Church.

My family is part of my ministry, and our motto is "We are a Kingdom family". Joy is my beautiful wife of 21 years, we have 6 children: Isaac, Hannah Ruth, Abigail, Jeremiah, London, and Reuben. We are devoted to family and raising our children in the nurture and instruction of the LORD. We speak and lead conferences on Parenting, Marriage, Adoption and Foster Care and Living a Gospel Centered Life.

I am a graduate of Crichton College in Memphis, Tennessee and received my Master of Divinity in Evangelism and Church Planting from Liberty Theological Seminary. I completed my Doctor of Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Spiritual Formations.

Leading mission and educational trips have been a passion. Over the last 20 years I have led numerous educational trips to Israel which resulted in the creation of “GO Israel” Biblical Study Tours where participants can experience the Bible in the Holy Land on a once in a lifetime trip. I have also participated in mission work in Honduras, Canada, Africa, and India. I am passionate about testifying to God’s grace, and look forward to participating in Kingdom ministry.
