Lagniappe Mission
"Lagniappe" (lan-yap) is a Cajun French term meaning "a little something extra." Lagniappe Mission is a 501c-3 non-profit dedicated to providing a little something extra for a world in need. Our desire is to serve marriages, parents, pastors, and young adults as they live with gospel confidence and courage as everyday missionaries. Rooted in a biblical worldview, we offer "a little extra"—through conferences, biblical education trips, ministry soul care, and missional discipleship—to bring hope, transform lives, and spark kingdom purpose.
1. Gospel-Centered Marriage & Parenting Conferences
Parenting in today’s culture is harder than ever. The weight of raising kids in a world that constantly pulls them away from truth can feel overwhelming. We know because we’re in it too—navigating the same struggles, asking the same questions, and feeling the same burdens. But we also know this: God is faithful, and He has not left us to figure it out alone.
Our conferences are not about perfect parenting or flawless marriages—they are about gospel dependence. We come alongside couples to encourage, equip, and remind them that their greatest calling is to glorify God by loving Jesus, leading well, and living the gospel. With biblical wisdom and practical tools, we help families reclaim their God-given roles and embrace the mission of making their homes a place where the gospel is lived and God is glorified.
2. International GO Educational Trips (Greece, Turkey, Israel)
Walking where Jesus and the apostles walked transforms the way we read Scripture and live on mission. Our GO Trips are more than travel; they are discipleship journeys that deepen faith and ignite gospel urgency. Through historical and biblical teaching, we equip believers to see the world through the lens of the Great Commission. Each trip is an opportunity to experience God’s redemptive story in real time and return home with a renewed passion for making disciples.
3. Pastoral Couples Restoration & Soul Care Ministry
Ministry is beautiful, but it can also be brutal. Joy and I know firsthand the weight of shepherding others while feeling empty ourselves. We’ve walked through seasons of exhaustion, isolation, and brokenness; wondering if we could keep going. But we also know the power of the gospel and the impact of times of renewal and refreshing.
This ministry was born out of our own journey. We don’t just care about pastors; we care about pastoral couples. Both husband and wife are called, both carry the burdens, and both need soul care. Through intentional retreats, coaching, and community, we provide a space for pastoral couples to breathe again—to reconnect with each other, refocus on their calling, and remember the joy of ministry. Don’t believe the lie you have to do this alone, take the next step to shepherd your soul.
4. Mentoring & Discipling The Next Generation
Young leaders are not just the future of the church; they are the present. We are committed to mentoring and discipling college students, seminarians, and young adults to be gospel-driven leaders who stand firm in their identity in Christ. Through residency discipleship and leadership coaching, we equip the next generation to live with gospel confidence and courage, as they embrace their mission in the kingdom of God.
